Interview with Ootje Oxenaar

When researching Ootje Oxenaar (the designer of the well-known Dutch bank notes from 1960-1980) I found a great interview with him on the Creative Review blog.

In the interview he talks about his designs, what it was like to work with the Dutch Bank, and the personal features hidden in the bank notes (look for a rabbit, a fingerprint and hidden names).

You can also watch the  video made by Jack Spyker-Oles from the text of the interview

I was looking for Oxenaar, because we currently have this beautiful sketch of the 250 guilder note design (on loan from the Geldmuseum) on view in the 100 Years of Dutch Design exhibition.
